Introduction:
The uva ursi leaf extract is an active ingredient extracted from the dried leaves of the rhododendron plant ursula, the main components are arbutin and ursolic acid. Arbutin has various pharmacological activities such as antibacterial, antitussive, diuretic, etc. It is also an inhibitor of tyrosinase in human melanocytes. Arbutin can effectively inhibit the biological tyrosinease (tyrChemicalbookosinase) activity in skin. Blocks the formation of melanin and accelerates the decomposition and excretion of melanin through its direct binding with tyrosinase, thereby reducing skin pigmentation and eliminating pigmentation and freckles.It is currently the main raw material commonly used in whitening cosmetics in the country. Arbutin is used in cosmetics in many countries.
The uva ursi leaf extract has been used for medicinal purposes for hundreds of years, dating back to the Native Americans.
